Description
In 2016 I began my Masters in Counselling Psychology. I focused my master’s research on pre and post-natal anxiety and depression. Today I remain passionate about women’s issues and I am excited and honored to serve all who want to focus on mental wellness .
I practice and approach treatment with a holistic, integrative, metatheoretical lens that blends psychodynamic, person-centered, and existential perspectives with a personal belief in options based on eastern philosophy. This keeps in mind that all parts of a person (mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual) all work together and there is not a perfect solution that applies to everyone. I utilize evidence-based modalities combined with intuitive and energy-focused approaches that fit best. The modalities I utilize are trauma and polyvagal-informed, and include attachment and solution-focused, narrative, as well as a cognitive-behavioral approach. Acknowledging the uniqueness of each person, we will work to find out your needs and goals, isolate the issue and determine with you the best path towards discovering the authentic self in your most enlightened life!
